The diabetes exercise program is intended for people with diabetes mellitus who would like to exercise more and for which the step to the gym or sports club is still too big. In addition to a correct setting of medication and nutrition, exercise also causes a fall in your blood sugar level. Structured movement helps with this and you will experience this during the training sessions. The aim of the exercise program is to ensure that you get pleasure from exercise and that you eventually find a form of exercise that suits you and that you can sustain independently.
The exercise program has a duration of 4 months and consists of 16 training sessions. During these trainings, your fitness and strength will gradually be built up by a tailor-made program for you. Together we look for a form of movement / sport that suits you, so that you continue to move sufficiently during and after the program.
